Counselor applications
Counselors are drawn from the top mathematics majors across the Italy, Europe and around the world from a wide range of colleges and universities. They spend an intensive six weeks living on the campus of the University of Padova, where we rely on them to create a supportive atmosphere in a vibrant and diverse mathematical community.
Eligibility Counselors must satisfy the following criteria: be enrolled in college or university at the time of application. Students in any year of their undergraduate studies are eligible, including graduating seniors. Typically, counselors are undergraduate students. However, in exceptional circumstances, master’s candidates could be counselors at PROMYS Italia.
Stipend
In 2025, counselors will receive free room and board plus a six-week stipend of 6000 euro.

When the applications start (February 5-th, 2025) we will send you a notification and you can send back the application materials by the deadline:
- application form which includes short responses;
- two letters of recommendation;
- college transcript;
- a curriculum vitae (CV).
